2021 Spring Round Table Event Chicago, IL (Virtual)

Forty Information Technology leaders from AEC firms across the country met virtually on April 22nd via Chicago to discuss the return to work and future technology/business trends.

• Paul Edlund from Microsoft demonstrated Mixed Reality (MR) technology that applies to the AEC industry. Members queried about other technologies and platforms that would interact with MR.

• Cara Wilczynski from Autodesk discussed the future of ACC. Membership discussed strengthening our input with Autodesk and developing a closer relationship.

• Brad Horst from Microdesk discussed the development of their CIO Advisory Service and what firms are looking for in the current and future work environment.

• Members discussed the current challenges with the return to work environment and how they are handling the mixed work and remote collaboration.
