Forty-four Information Technology leaders from AEC firms across the country gathered in Atlanta, Georgia on April 16–17, 2026 to discuss current and emerging technology and business trends.  Change Management was a central theme throughout the roundtable. 

  • Marie Bennett , VP of Business Technology Solutions and Mike Blahnik, Senior Director of Change Management for RGP opened the event with Innovation, AI Readiness, & the Discipline of Organizational Change.

  • Rohan Jawali, Founder and CEO and Kyle Faria, Founding Account Executive of Joist AI shared The Foundation, Under the AI.

  • Shay Frendt, CTO and Evan Furniss, Solutions Expert for Glide presented The Democratization of Software Development.

  • Clay Starr, AEC Key Accounts Lead for ESRI covered his companies’ change management strategies called Why Here.

  • Members of the AEC IT Leaders and a vendor participated in a panel on Change Management.  The panel was hosted by Scott Schuetz featuring Darren Burns of Stantec, Ashroff Khan of Norr, Aseem Deshpande of Clark Nexsen and Mike Blahnik of RGP.
