2024 Spring Round Table Event Kansas City, MO

Thirty Information Technology leaders from AEC firms across the country met in Kansas City, Missouri on April 25 - 26, 2024 to discuss current and future technology/business trends.  AI was a major focus of the roundtable.

• Mehdi Nourbakhsh CEO of YegaTech spoke to the group on his work helping CEOs, CTOs, innovation directors, and business executives grow their businesses and differentiate themselves and their companies via AI technology and innovation.

• Kevin Soohoo and Eduardo Franken of Egnyte presented their take on AEC firms high data usage and the need to find data.  Collaboration strategies were shared along with developments for AI.

• Carl Veillette, Marge Hart, Tara Anderson and Tony Page of Newforma presented their current roadmap for Konekt, cloud integrations and their upcoming developments for AI.

• Susanna Holt of Autodesk presented to the group some of the strategic technologies that are in development along with AI, augmentation, automation and analysis tools that are being developed.

• The Thursday presenters along with Bill Carney of DLR Group took part in an AI Panel hosted by Scott Schuetz.  The group enjoyed dinner at Jack Stack BBQ in the evening.

• Matt Mason Director of Software Solutions for IMAGINiT discussed their platform for automation and intelligence for Revit based projects.  A case study for DLR was presented after by Bill Carney of DLR Group.

• Members attended a VR Experience at Flipswitch in the afternoon.
