Thirty-two Information Technology leaders from AEC firms across the country met in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 10–11, 2025 to discuss current and future technology/business trends. “Functional AI” was a central theme throughout the roundtable.
John Robison, COO at KTGY opened the event with a compelling thought-leadership session on building successful programs for leadership education.
Altaf Ganihar, founder and CEO of Snaptrude demonstrated Snaptrude’s embedded AI tools and evolving capabilities.
Karl Smith of Creative ITC shared insights on driving digital transformation across AEC organizations through SaaS and AI platforms.
Alexander von Boetticher and Ricardo Walker, of Cogram presented their AI platform for architects, builders, and engineers, showcasing automation across the entire project lifecycle—from AI-assisted RFP reviews and bidding, to automated meeting minutes, field reports, and project risk monitoring.
The Thursday presenters along with Bill Carney of DLR Group took part in an AI Panel hosted by Scott Schuetz. The group enjoyed dinner at Jack Stack BBQ in the evening.
Edwin Marty, CTO at Open Asset delivered a forward-looking discussion on digital transformation in the AEC industry, exploring the future of AI, governance and compliance, innovation, and more.
